ENTRIX has the experience and expertise to provide a diverse range of specialized environmental services to federal agencies. SIN 899-1 Environmental Planning Services & Documentation

Environmental Impact Statements & Assessments under the National Environmental Policy Act

  • Perform data identification
  • Data collection (including site visits and interviews)
  • Data development
  • Data interpretation
  • Sampling and analysis
  • Preparation of human health risk and environmental impact evaluations and reports
  • Preparation of expert testimony
  • Preparation of materials for and attendance at public meetings and public hearings (including scoping meetings).
  • Assisting federal agencies in planning and conducting national assessments of wastewater and sludge (biosolids).

Endangered Species, Wetlands, Watersheds and other Natural Resource Management Plans, Studies and Consultations

  • Conduct reviews of any existing reports and management plans
  • Coordinate with U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service
  • Contact appropriate state office for information
  • Perform surveys
  • Use the results of data collection to prepare reports/maps

ENTRIX can perform: reviewing existing reports, management plans, and other documents; coordinate with U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, NOAA, USACOE, EPA, and any other appropriate federal regulatory or resource management agency; contact appropriate state offices for information; perform surveys and other sampling programs; compile, synthesize, analyze and evaluate results to prepare reports/maps.

ENTRIX can conduct appropriate studies and analyses to support and prepare: Watershed Management Plans, Habitat Conservation Plans, restoration-based remediation programs under CERCLA and OPA, Biological Opinions and consultations under ESA, monitoring plans for remediation and restoration projects, risk assessment and risk management programs for natural resources in all habitats, and natural resource damage assessment and habitat restoration plans required under DOI and NOAA NRDA regulations.

Environmental Regulation Development

Assist in the development of environmental regulations, to include data collection, data analysis, publishing for public comments, analyzing and responding to public comments, holding public hearings, and finalizing regulations.

Represent an agency by reviewing proposed environmental regulations and assisting in the development of comments, tracking the submission of these comments, representing the agency at public hearings, and reporting on the finalizing of the regulations.

Environmental Compliance Audits

Determine all applicable public law and statutes, agency and command regulations/directive, and other federal, state and local regulations and apply as required to conduct audit.

Evaluate findings and prepare necessary documentation/reports.

Compliance Management Planning

ENTRIX can develop Management Plans that will cover the following:

Pollution Prevention Surveys

  • Conduct pollution prevention surveys
  • Develop pollution prevention plans

Waste Management Services

ENTRIX conducts analyses of options under consideration for Waste Management Services and perform activities, such as:

  • Data collection
  • Data development
  • Analyses of comments
  • Regulatory and economic analyses
  • Feasibility analyses
  • Hazard assessments
  • Exposure assessments
  • Risk analyses.

Services include, but are not limited to development of waste characterization studies and recommendations for management strategy including identification of recycling options.

Assessments might include studies relating to collection and transfer of waste, source reduction, and evaluation of energy/fuel options. Services could include data collection, data development, analyses of comments, regulatory and economic analyses, feasibility analyses, hazard assessments, exposure assessments and risk analyses.

Services may also include review of new technologies for managing waste or automated systems for tracking and handling waste that are recommended as a result of the consulting performed under this SIN.

Traditional services ENTRIX has performed under this SIN include preliminary assessments, site inspections, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remedial designs, modeling, data management, hazardous waste analyses, UST management, lead-based paint management, PCB management, risk assessments, health and safety plans, and construction oversight.

Hazardous Materials Management Advisory Services

Provide Hazardous Materials Management Advisory Services. These services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Furnishing of material safety data sheets (MSDS) by compact disc, on-line via Internet, mail or facsimile
  • Establishing hazardous materials inventories and tracking systems
  • Development of emergency response plans.

SIN 899-7 Geographic Information Services (GIS)

Geographic Information Services

ENTRIX provides geographic information services as a method for gathering more detailed ecologic, biologic, geographic, and legal data to support environmental and economic analyses.

ENTRIX provides operational services, advice, or guidance in support of agencies' environmental programs utilizing geographic information services. The services include, but are not limited to:

  • Mapping and cartography

  • Emergency preparedness planning

We have developed maps and corresponding databases for such diverse information as spotted owl locations and habitat; soil strata and ground water levels; water rights; cropping patterns and practically irrigable acreage; flood inundation and parcel boundaries of flooded lands; flood conditions as elements in FERC relicensing procedures; wildlife habitat analysis for threatened and endangered species; and historic cropland location and acreage analyses.
