Naknek Power Plant Title I/Title V Permits and Compliance

Summary: In support of the Naknek Electric Association, ENTRIX prepared a Title I air quality Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) construction permit application with an ambient air quality modeling assessment (modeling was subcontracted) and Best Available Control Technology (BACT) assessment for installation of three new diesel engines at the Naknek Power Plant. We also prepared a Title V air quality operating permit renewal application for the Naknek Power Plant, including emissions calculations and compliance evaluation. Most recently, ENTRIX prepared a Title I minor permit application to reduce required exhaust stack extensions. ENTRIX continues to assist Naknek Electric Association with compliance documents, such as emission estimates, operating reports, and annual compliance certifications.
